ACA Portland Retreat

The ACA Portland Retreat Committee is working hard to put together our 2017 Fall Retreat, November 16-19 at Rockaway Beach OR. (Details about the site are at We’ll have Hadley Hall again, plus Pacific Woods Lodge.)

The Registration Form with all the details will be published on or after August 28 on this website. We’re waiting until after the campout to publish.

Meet at section E just west of South falls day use area parking lot.

Sunday, August 7th: 11 am to 1pm Potluck lunch
Bring blanket or chair and a dish to share.
We will have several  hiking options  from short to long, Easy to moderate.

Come with us to an enchanted land .
Where  rainbows lie in each drop of water.
Where the trees offer supernatural spectacles,
Where all trails lead to Wonder, Awe, and enchantment.
We will bring our magical child to gently nurture each other .

ComLine Wants your Story about Steps & Traditions 4, 5, and 6

Dear Adult Children,

We are about to relaunch our “ComLine” newsletter.
ACA’s message of hope, strength, and recovery is experienced by adult
children around the world. The first new ComLine will focus on Steps 4, 5, 6 and Traditions 4, 5, 6.

We extend a special invitation to you:

Selected shares will be published as you write them–not translated
into English.

All shares will be considered, and each adult child who contributes a
share will receive a complementary digital issue of our re-launched

ACA Annual Business Conference

To Members of the ACA Fellowship:

By now you should have received the Ballot with the Proposals that were received for consideration at the 2015 ACA Annual Business Conference (ABC.) If not, please see the website.

We encourage every meeting or Intergroup to send at least one person to this year’s ABC, if possible. Although only one person may be the official voting delegate from a meeting or Intergroup, all attendees will participate in the dialog. Anyone planning to attend should fill out the Registration Form using the following link:

At this time we do not have any recommendations for hotels because St. David’s is near Downtown Austin where hotels are more expensive. Attendees may have better luck finding reasonably priced hotels through discount travel sites. If additional information becomes available, it will be posted on the website.
