If you find any errors in this list, please submit a comment below, and we will update the site. One of the most difficult and brave decisions we each make is to walk through the doors of ACA. Hi, just bringing an error to the attention of those who maintain this list. The venue listed for the Tues evening secular ACA meeting at the Alano Club is out of date. The meeting is no longer on the 2nd floor. It is held in the “cafe” space on the main floor. Thank you for updating this list!
Thank uou! It seems that no one is updating this site anymore. I commented on this months ago.
Thank you for the new location!
No intergroup = no accountability to this aspect of service for the current member nor the ACA newcomer who has not yet found us. Such conversations should not be on a public forum, and I don’t mean just this message. The ACAOregon.com site will ideally in some future iteration be managed as a hub for Public Information and not internal communications or publicly-accessible “customer service” oriented Q&A (like this conversation). This is, of course, one member’s opinion. But without an intergroup there is no responsible party representing a group conscience, no reasonable expectation of any outcome for change based on any messages left here.
Does anybody know of potential acoa sponsors in Eugene? The only meeting time that’s listed is at a time that is no bueno for me, but I’d like to at least get some contacts here for some support. Thanks!
Hello, did the “Tuesday 7-8 pm – Secular ACA, – Alano Club” meeting take place on Tues 1/15? It didn’t appear to be happening on the 2nd floor, but maybe I was mistaken? I would like to attend if anyone could confirm/clarify location, and that it regularly takes place. Thank you!
Hi D,
That meeting now takes place in the cafe, first floor, adjacent to the club’s office.
Hope this helps!
-RV
Btw- to whoever else might be reading this, someone should contact the World Setvices Office to update the meeting schedule to accurately reflect ALL (ideally after a “formal” review of all) meeting details.
Hi, I believe the Tues evening secular meeting has moved rooms. It is no longer on the second floor. I was told this week it takes place in the “cafe” space on the main floor.
The “Sunday 6-7pm – 5441 SE Belmont St, Portland, OR 97215” meeting will not meet on 12/30/18. This meeting has been renamed to ‘Fellow Travelers’.
Battle Ground ACA meeting on Tuesday at 12 will NOT meet Christmas Day or New Years Day.
Does anyone know how I can contact someone at the Battle Ground ACA meeting?
All I have is what might be listed in the active meetings list.
Sorry!
Stephen C
Lynn, if you are still looking for a way to contact someone from the Battle Ground Phase 2 Recovery ACA meeting, please send me an e-mail message at . I used to attend that meeting before I moved to Portland, and I’m pretty sure I still have contact info for 1-2 other members.
In loving service,
Suki McD.
The Tuesday night meetings at Alano are apparently not happening anymore
Is the Vancouver Thurs meeting still going? I showed up two week ago and no one was there.
Hello! Sorry for the delay, unfortunately I have no knowledge of them, sometimes groups do dissipate without notification. If you are willing to try again, I would be very interested to know if they are there or not. Thank you!
So a friend and I went to the ACA meeting at Peacehealth tonight at 7 PM and there was no ACA meeting on the schedule inside the door when we got there. So we ended up going to the Family meeting but I wanted to know if we missed it somehow or if it had gotten canceled? I also thought maybe we misread it but I see now that it does say 7 PM there at that location. So I’m just wondering for future reference as well.
Hi~ unfortunately, I have no contact info for this meeting. If you happen to try again do let us know what you find, thank you and sorry I cannot be more useful.
Stephen C
At the Thursday night meeting in Vancouver at the hospital and nobody is here. The directory lists the meeting but there isn’t anyone here. Just wanted to let people know this meeting probably isn’t happening any longer.
Peace
Thank you for letting us know!
Stephen C
Hello,
Are there any active meetings in the Beaverton/Aloha/Hillsboro area?

Couple of things. The Tuesday meeting in Battle Ground is BEHIND the church in portable classroom and not IN the church, and
Is there a way to see the most recent posts at the top of the site rather than scrolling to the bottom?
Just a thought……
Lesley
Yes, I agree. It’s very tedious to scroll through all the messages to find the most recent one. Please list them from newest to oldest.
The Port Orford Group has moved to 2011 Oregon St in Port Orford Or. 97465 at the “Twice Upon a Time” store
Really need to find a therapist with ACA experience. Live near NW Portland, St. Johns area.
Hi,
Just wondering if the secular Tuesday night meetings are still active?
Hi, I recently volunteered as secretary for the new Sunday meeting, The Eastside at Taborspace ACA meeting.
Please note under our description that Taborspace is closed December 25 and January 1 and we will not have meetings those days. Please also remove the sentence about extending the meeting. We are running from 6 to 7 PM. Thanks, Julie
is this meeting still active?
Yes, I believe that it still is, we were talking about it recently.
I suggest checking it out!
Thank you!
Hi all, any Beaverton meetings? Thx.
Hi Allison,
All active meetings are listed here: https://acaoregon.com/aca-oregon-meeting-list/
Currently there’s a meeting in Beaverton on Thursday’s at 6:30 at Cedar Hills Baptist Church in Beaverton.
Thank you!
Hello
I posted some months ago (around May 2017) but don’t see it here. The Cedar Hills Baptist Church was empty all doors locked.
Is this meeting cancelled or moved?
I will take a look into this and get back to you, we are sorry that there was no one there!
This meeting appears to have been cancelled, I only recently heard back from the church. I have removed it from the list 😦
I found the church locked and no sign of a meeting on a Thursday.
Update for the Eastside at Taborspace meeting: This meeting is currently running from 6 to 7pm and the new contact for questions is julieacapdx@gmail.com. Also please note for us that Taborspace is closed November 27th, December 25th and January 1st so we will not have meetings those days. Thanks!
Hi Everyone!
I’m hoping to walk with others to form a Yellow Book step working group, preferably on Mondays at 5/5:30 (but also Tues–Thurs could work). My guidance is asking for a group comprised of a mix of members that includes at least a small number who have done some ACA Stepwork in recent months/years with a sponsor. I have a sponsor and have worked Steps elsewhere (in long term recovery), but am only this year developing a foundation in ACA. So…heres to asking!
-Rick
Hi Rick,
If you are still wanting to do this, we are forming a Skype group working through the yellow workbook on Saturdays. A couple years after your request, but hey!
You can request the particulars through my WordPress contact.
Sarah C.
I went to the Secular ACA meeting tonight. 4 other people showed too, but no Secretary or anyone who had even been there before. Pretty much all newcomers to ACA but we rose to the occasion and had a good meeting. My concern is that Secular ACA may not have adequate support resources, and a different mix of newcomers might have been confused or not gotten what they needed. We were in the right room, I checked at the Alano desk.
– Matt ACA
Hi Matt,
Sincere apologies for your first visit to the Secular ACA meeting. We certainly want all newcomers to ACA to feel welcome and supported. We’re looking into ways we can further support this meeting and will post updates on its status as they become available. Thank you for rising to the occasion and being of service! We hope you will check out other ACA meetings listed above. Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.
Is the Thursday, 6:30 pm – “Talk, Trust, Feel” – Cedar Hills Baptist Church ACA meeting still active?
Yes.
Yes it is!
Please updaTE THE LIST OF MEETINGS AS FOLLOWS:
The Florence meeting has been cancelled, due to a total lack of attendance.
The Newport meeting has been moved from Saturday to Monday 7 p.m.
Thank you. Lloyd @ 406-214-9176 or presentinthemoment@hotmail.com
Hi, I stopped by one meeting (A wed night at Alano) but no one elee came. is this normal or did I just ht a slow night?
Hi Patrick, I’m wondering if you may have been looking in a different room. I was at the 6:30 Wednesday meeting, and it was fairly full. Please send an email to acaoregon@gmail.com with any questions. If the flyer is incorrect, we are happy to update it!
The Wednesday night meeting at the Alano Club is active and has regular attendees. The meeting is 6:30-8 pm – Gentleness Humor Love Respect – Alano Club, 909 NW 24th Ave (at Kearney), Portland, 2nd Floor, SE Room.
I was wondering if any meeting thought about having child care? It seems like there would be such a big need for that. If anyone is interested in trying to start one with child care let me know- I would love to help set that up.
Hi Molly, what a great idea! Could you send an email to acaoregon@gmail.com to discuss more? Thank you for this offering!
Is the group located at Willamette Falls open to spouses of ACoA’s?
Absolutely!
New meeting Tuesday night in the Study Room at the Alano Club from 7-8:00. The focus of the meeting will be the steps… Please join us… Small intimate group…
Is there a meeting in Bend?
Hi Lori, I’m sorry to say that there currently are no meetings in Bend.
Port Orford also has a Saturday, 8:00 am meeting at Once Upon a Time Store. Florence, OR has a meeting, Monday at 3:00 pm, at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 19th and Tamarack.
Hi Julia, thanks so much! Do you know the contact emails and names for these meetings? Please feel free to send an email to acaoregon@gmail.com
Please change the Saturday ACA “Awareness Change Action” meeting time to state: 12:00-1:30 . Because the current information is confusing and are arriving as the ends.
Allan
Hi Allan, thanks for the heads up. I just changed it yesterday!
Hi. New to Ashland. Closest mtg looks like it is in Medford. I noticed that mtg is not listed with ACA world org. Does anyone know if it is still happening? Thank you.
Hi Carrie, a fellow ACA member responded to say that he saw the meeting was canceled a few months ago. I’m sorry for the confusion, and will have our site updated. If you are interested in phone meetings, please check out adultchildren.org
Hi Carrie, I was just in contact with someone from that meeting, and it is still open and doing quite well!
Are the meetings in Medford still happening? How would I find out?
Hi Ryan,
Yes, there are two meetings in Medford. They are listed above on this page under “Medford”.
Update on Thursday meeting in Gresham. Meeting time has been moved to start at 5:30 pm and go to 6:45 pm. I am now the group contact person.
We also have a name now: “Love Coming From Action”
Please note Battle Ground Stage Two meeting will begin at 12:30pm in lieu of 1pm.
I’m looking for a step meeting in pdx. Is there an open one in town? If not, is anyone else interested in a step study?
Hi Brien, tomorrow night there will be a meeting to discuss what’s involved in a Step Study group and how to start one! It will be held Monday, August 18th at 8pm at the Alano Club. The meeting will be held upstairs in the big meeting room. The Alano Club is located at 909 NW 24th Ave in Portland.
I am interested in a step group! Where and when?
Hi Chris, I reached out on the site to find out about current step meetings, but haven’t received any responses. The best way to find out about open step group meetings is to ask in your meetings about current step groups. Another way that people often “find “a group is to start your own, or to gather names of interested people. Often, someone will pass around a list at the end of the meeting, saying that they’re interested in connecting with others would like to start a step group. There is more information on how to start a meeting on this site. Just go to the main menu, then “Start a Meeting”, then “Start a Step Meeting”.
Am looking for a Grants Pass ACA meeting. Any news re this idea? I heard it might be in the works.
Please note that the Sunday evening ACA meeting in Oregon City is now in CONF room #2.
Thanks, Chuck O.
Is there still a meeting in Oregon City?
Hi Sue, yes, I believe this meeting is still active.
Is the Saturday morning meeting located at NE Broadway a general type meeting? I’m new to this so will appreciate any info on this one. Thank you!
Yes, it is a regular meeting. I think it tends to be a fairly small meeting. Hope that helps!
Yes, it is a regular ACA meeting. I know it is needing support to flourish.
Is the Generation New Saturday morning meeting on NE Broadway a general type meet? I’m new to this so any info is appreciated. Thanks!
I tried to attend the St. Helens, Oregon meeting on Saturday, April 13th, 2013 but some of the AA folks that were there said that there wasn’t an ACA meeting held there at the Alano Club St. Helens anymore. I don’t know if this is true because I could not find anyone to confirm this.
Thanks for your notification. We have been unsure if the meeting was still going. We are taking it off the active meeting list until such a time as we have been notified they are meeting.
Are there any meetings in Portland with child care?
No meetings offer child care at this time.
But check out the telephone meetings listed on subcategory of active meetings.
Hey, nice website, thanks to Intergroup! Best, Ruth
