Silver Falls is a beautiful State Park, it has lots of waterfalls, a safe swimming area, hiking trails both long and short. This is a brief 90 minute journey from Portland, about 25 miles east of Salem, or 15 miles south of Silverton, for those who have enjoyed game days there! Activities include hiking for every skill and distance comfort level, there is swimming, and bringing snacks is always encouraged! It is a lovely place just to be!
A Few Notes:
Dogs permitted on leash
$5 day-use or $30 annual pass required
Please let us and others people know that you are coming!
Carpooling is always encouraged.
Guy 503-208-1129 and David 503-329-2517 will help you find a ride if you need one!

Step Group Challenge!
Are you in a step group?
How many of your people can you bring to this event?
⇐ We will meet right about on the pin, it’s a good idea to come early and claim some turf!
We will be on the east side of the river (Mount Hood side) between the Hawthorne and Morrison Bridges on the walkway that’s called the east bank esplanade.
I’ll be getting there about 7:30 PM so I get a good spot (my self-care), you would be wise to join me then and get yourself a good spot too!
Bring a radio and we can listen to the simulcast! More information is in the link below. I would like to see as many of you there, having as much fun as possible.
There will be a lot of people there and it does get crowded, so bring your patience, be early and bring a chair.
Feel free to call or text me if you get lost: David M 503-329-2517
Please announce this in your meeting!
